Announcement
Today’s issue is slightly different than what you might see in The Profit Zone.
I started this newsletter as a way to teach you how to make money. For that, side hustles can be a gold mine.
In this issue, I’m going to be revealing 4 side hustles I’ve tried and tested myself so you can start putting some extra money in your pockets to fuel those dividend stocks.
The last one will surprise you…
But before we begin, I wanna know one thing…
What stage are you in?
Side Hustle Ideas
Dividend investing is fun. Especially when you’re using your active income from a 9-5 to buy dividend stocks every time you get your bi-weekly paycheck.
But do you know what’s even more fun? It’s being able to buy dividend stocks every week, or every day.
The key to growing a stream of income through dividend investing is by constantly contributing and reinvesting. But the issue is that people who work 9-5’s (myself included) only get paid 2x a month. And when you’re only getting paid 2x a month, it makes it hard to contribute to your dividend portfolio, especially if you have dependents like a wife and kids.
For that reason, I’ve decided to make this issue about side hustles you can do in your free time that will help you fuel your dividend portfolio. Even an extra $50/week can make a HUGE difference over a period of 20+ years.
I’m going to give you a list of side hustles that don’t require a college degree, a high IQ or a lot of time, so you can start earning some extra cash to put towards fueling those juicy dividend stocks.
Side Hustle 1: Become an Affiliate
People love throwing around the term Affiliate Marketing but there’s a reason why. It’s because affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make money online.
No need to create your own product and no need to deal with customers who want refunds. All you have to do is sell.
Affiliate marketing is such a great skill to learn because it teaches you how to sell something that isn’t even yours. When you master that, selling something that is yours becomes a piece of cake.
There are so many affiliate programs out there (you can even become one for Amazon).
Here’s how I started:
I bought a course on Twitter called The Affiliates Playbook for $49 (yes the course I affiliated for was about affiliate marketing). I then went through the course and took detailed notes. This is key. It’s easier to sell something you’ve read and learned from. DO NOT buy courses without going through them to make a quick dollar. People will see right through you.
I then applied the principles inside the book to sell it to others on Twitter. In 6 months, I sold around 75 copies. My affiliate commission was 60% of the total sale so I made around $2,200 from this product alone.
In my opinion, affiliating for products that charge customers on a recurring basis is the key to making tons of money passively with this side hustle. To this day, I still make about $250/month from a product I affiliated for 2 years ago. Easy money that can fuel your dividend stocks.
Side Hustle 2: Amazon KDP
You can make money off anything. The key is being consistent.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with Amazon KDP, specifically blank notebooks. You can sell them for $5-$15 each and they take about 20 minutes to create.
Once they’re created, all you have to do is publish to Amazon and you’re ready to start making some money.
Amazon does take a cut of the profits but if you sell just 10 copies of a $10 notebook you’ll be taking home a good chunk of change that month.

Side Hustle 3: Transcribing
If you’re somewhat good at typing then you’re going to love this one.
I’ve been testing out transcribing lately with Rev, and I have earned around $25/week doing so. All you have to do is listen to the audio and type exactly what you hear. Each file takes anywhere from 5-15 min to complete and you can do as many as you’d like. They’ll also pay you straight to your PayPal account.
You get put through detailed training and they do a great job of laying out all of the guidelines for you to follow.
